Hello! My name is Jon, and I am a new member to the MakerSpace community. I was wondering if anyone will be there this evening, or before Thursday who could help me sign the waiver and wouldn’t mind letting me in so I can set up my access fob. I took a tour around a year ago and signed the waiver at the kiosks in the room but am unsure if that’s still valid. Thank you for any and all help!
Your waiver is forever. Providing that you’re still using the same email, that is. Odds are good for tonight, although I’m going to see when I get back before I commit.
If you already have a fob, you can set it up online using the maker manger “My Badges” tab (menu on the DMS main page). You’ll need the number stamped in the fob to do so.
For that matter, we keep a supply of fobs in the mail box out front. Assume*ing that the waiver is for the same email, that should work.
The “Member Portal” is the very top hamburger if you’re on your phone. And, if you can get that logged in, the 2nd door should give you immediate gratification. I’d say that the front door would do that, but we’re having closing issues with the front door, so sometimes it just isn’t locked. The 2 interior doors are solid, though. Any good fob will make the reader go green – a working/assigned fob will make the door “click”.

After searching through my email I could not find a signed waiver for myself so I believe I will still need to sign a waiver as well.
I’ll probably be up around 5:15ish or so until 9:30ish today.
If between those times work, I can DM you my number in case doorbell doesn’t get anyone.
