New Laser Cutter

The Zing should be usable, I am not sure if they are waiting of training or some hook-up. It would do raster very well with Epilog software. of course it’s much smaller so you’d have to cut your material down.

If it needs training I can train for the Zing once it’s running.

Wow massive. You will have to climb in to get to the back of the grid.

So when’s the first class on this thing?

WANT TO USE. BADLY. NOW!

is the cut area bigger than the LS?

Yes, 'Saur is roughly 2x4 foot. This is roughly 3x4 foot.

66.9" x 44.5" x 9" cutting area.

With a pass through on the 66"

Nice count me in for the class for sure…

Based off of the specs that Luke sent originally, the work area is 1600mm x 1000mm. That would be roughly 63" x 39.4".

Got it. Thanks for the info!

FDA release came through today. The lasers are down during the transition but we hope to have one or two hooked up again Thursday. Thanks everyone for helping out!

Big thanks to all for the swaparoo, especially to Pearce who stayed late to get the hookups done. And congrats on being elected as Laser Chair!

Unwrapping a new tool like that is probably the most satisfying thing ever. Thank you everyone involved in setting up the new lasers, I know there was a lot of work and prep involved. We appreciate the help!

Any word yet on the auction of the FSL?
