Used the Bridgeport last night to drill some large holes, stepping up through the sizes. The largest HSS drill bits we have are in horrible shape.
The 7/8" drill is dull, chipped, and the bottom 1/2 inch of the flutes are ground down to be undersized. Would not drill.
The 1" is usable (barely), but is also in bad shape.
All 1/2" (IIRC) drills bits were missing all together - could not locate.
