If anyone out there is trying to make a go of packing their own products, this might be of interest. I seem to recall some folks being in that boat.

I’m pretty sure that’s what the vacuum forming machine already in our warehouse is for.
Nope, two entirely different machines. This one wraps a product in plastic and pulls the air out of the wrap. The big grey beast in the warehouse uses a vacuum to pull hot plastic down around a mold to form the plastic.
I’m guessing the above machine is more of a “seal a meal” type appliance (top and bottom layer with food in between). Vacuuform machine is more about making shapes out of typically rigid plastic.
I think that’s among the possible uses.
But this one is free, and you could have it YOUR garag,er factory…

And no, I wasn’t suggesting this for DMS. Seems to dedicated a use for all that floorspace…
