Need two people and a Truck

Hi. I need two people to help load and unload a player piano (40"x30"x40" approx.) From Rowlett to the makerspace. If you got a Truck and a buddy free next weekend (14th/15th) lets discuss.
Could probably handle it with two people and some sturdy plywood.

Sorry, can’t help you, but unless you know the weight for certain you should plan on one more person. Player piano is likely to weigh 500 lbs or more, depending on the size. Not too bad on level ground, but going up the “ramp” into the bed is dead weight. (My “regular” piano weighs over 800 pounds)

EDIT: P.S. Don’t roll it on the piano’s casters. They aren’t made for that. That’s a sure way to bust them off. You need a four-wheel dolly.

I’d think about piano dollies…

Pianos are kind of a pain. What was supposed to be a cheap piano for the kids turned into a huge headache and I spent more moving it than the cost of the piano. Good luck to you.

You’re better off renting a low trailer and strapping it down like crazy. Getting that much weight up in a truck will be very difficult and only made worse by the gap between the bed and the tailgate, especially if you have a truck like mine - a 4x4, which is very tall.
