Need to punch a 3/4" hole in some sheet metal

Anyone have a good option for punching some holes in sheet metal?

Carbide hole saw it one, 3/4" knock out is another. Unibit is another. The quickest of those options would be the carbide hole saw.

An iron man would get it done quickly.

Don’t own one in that size, but this is what you are looking for.

Be careful with the knockouts. Most of the time they are trade size. i.e. A 3/4 is about 1.115" diameter. 1/2" is 7/8"ish.

I believe Small Metals have a punch set, but they are most likely Jewelry specific (aka softer annealed metals). Asking @AnneGullett may be of help.

Yes, the one I provided the link for is for the actual dimension of 3/4"

Harbor freights Unibits work great, we use them for metal studs and it doesn’t matter if the new guy drops one down the wall because the shitting chuck on a ryobi loosened up.

I’ve even used them to make holes in stainless steel beer kegs. Nice thing is they are disposable in a sense compared to the greenlee version with is 3x the cost.
