Need instructions on choosing soldering tip for Hacco FX-951

I need a curved tip to drag solder a LED connector onto a logic board, I did not see it in E-lab, I need suggestions if I can buy https://www.amazon.com/FEITA-Soldering-Station-T15-J02-3-Piece/dp/B01IN2CUN6/ref=sr_1_3?crid=11JTNNBPVM7ZT&dchild=1&keywords=t15-j02&qid=1614704821&s=hi&sprefix=t15-j%2Ctools%2C217&sr=1-3 and use it with Hacco in Elab?

The reviews on this product look very mixed. Problem with working and/or not lasting long. Definitely cheaper than the Hakko products. Do you nee all 3 types of tips? I can find the T15-J02 and T15-JL02 curved tips.

Cannot find the T15-KR tip on the Hakko website

Thanks for quick reply, I only need one but not sure which one work that tiny space around that LCD connector (micro soldering). I will buy from above links.

Thanks
Yaswanth

If you’re not in a hurry, I can order 2 sets of the bent tips from Hakko for the ELab. Order time may be longer than from Amazon. Let me know.

Thats great, I am not in hurry.

Thanks

Tips ordered. Will let you know when they arrive.

If you don’t mind, try to keep them out of the normal tip rotation. Those tips will be useful for Yaswanth’s purpose, but would be absolutely horrific for normal soldering especially if a beginner didn’t know why they weren’t able to get a big ground plane to melt and just cranked the temp.

@artg_dms is there any update on tips, did they arrive?

Yes! Sent you a pm a while back.
PM me if you have any questions.

I’ve used this Hakko ‘Tip selector’ site in the past. Lots of great technical details. I learned a lot about the various use cases for different tips and why/when to use them. I don’t think you can purchase from here but you can at least figure out the specific one you want and then you can do a google search to locate the actual tip.

You can order from the USA site
