I was wanting to engrave 4 yeti type cups for a family vacation, Was hoping to be able to get in a class before then but there are never any classes posted. anyone with experience interested in doing them for me? I can create the artwork in whatever file you would need. Will be 4 cups, two different cup sizes. Let me know if you are interested.

If you have the cups and and art ready I can help knock it out for you pretty quick one afternoon/evening if you want to meet there? I’m notoriously hard to schedule with though so if you get help or a class prior then probably take it. 
I think I will be avail Sunday afternoon.
Note that this will not constitute any real teaching and definitely not authorizing you or anyone for future use on the machine. I enjoy using it and helping others make cool things.
It was my understanding that the Big Thunder was down and the others (with the exception of the Zing) weren’t working very well and some tweaking/ calibrating/tuning was needed which was happening this weekend (possibly)

That sounds right. And I think maybe… that Donner was working, but you had to use the Big Thunder PC to log in.

My understanding is we only have a rotary for the fusion these days. Last I saw there is a sign on it saying it’s underpowered. So could probably engrave yetis but will take more passes that normal is my guess.
another option would be to rig up a sand blaster or electro etch them. There are all sorts of tutorials for those, if no one on talk has done it before.
