I am in the process of scheduling a class to be held in the hands on class room. I would appreciate if someone could provide me a brief walk through of the infrastructure, projector use and hookup to lap top, etc.
I will be there most of Saturday, but can come up at someone’s convenience during most evenings and anytime on the Weekends. I need to get this intro before June 4th.
Nothing fancy here. Basically, there are two TVs at the front of the
classroom with hdmi ports often with cables already attached. There is also
a little black box which is an hdmi splitter if you want to display to both
TVs. It will need to be powered. I think that the TVs also have a VGA port.
Is there anything else that you’d like to know?
In a Amateur radio meeting they put cell phone pics up on the monitor without connecting anything. Since I will possibly be shooting pictures with a cell phone I hoped to be able to do this on one monitor while using the other for my slides.
So to hook my laptop up to the one monitor it needs to be near the monitor, not like the lecture room where there is a ‘black box’ that you plug stuff into?
There is a chromecast on the left hand screen as well, you should be able
to use that. What app on which phone os will you be broadcasting from? No,
no black box in the interactive classroom at this point.
