Hey all! I’m new to the creative arts section, usually hanging out over in the metalworking world. I’m building a cafe racer motorcycle, and am at the stage where I need to make the seat cover for the foam and fiberglass seat. Is there anyone that’s done this type of thing before? I have a full grain hide (intending on making matching bags and grips), I just don’t even know where to start with sewing leather. Thank you!!! Willing to trade welding help, motorcycle building help, or food

Hey Simon, I have not specifically made a motorcycle seat before but I can certainly help you work the leather. I’ll be at the Leather-working station Saturday afternoon for open house if you want to swing by and chat.
