Hello,
I own a company and need help prototyping a metal shell for components. I made a model and 3d printed it, but it will not work. I am hoping I can bring a similar model and we can make modifications to it. Please message me if you have the capabilities for this project. I am located in Plano.

So … DMS does not offer design/build services. There are two ways you might proceed with this.

  1. Join DMS, take a class on the equipment you need (manual or CNC mill), qualify to use the equipment, do it yourself
  2. An individual member might take interest and offer to help - perhaps for money or other consideration - but that would be between you and the member

Try posting in category below. The more specific you can be, e.g. what software do you have in mind for your model, what timeframe are you working on, what compensation are you willing to offer, etc., the better results you are likely to get.
