I noticed an out of order cone on the Multicam machine yesterday morning, but couldn’t find any threads discussing the issue. Does anyone know what is wrong with the machine?

The PC at the MultiCam died a couple of weeks back. The PC at the machine now is temp. only used to load machine tools. We have a new PC to run Vcarve 12 maker space edition. we are working to get it installed the new computer.
Work around for now.,
Start up the PC at the multicam, run the multicam warm up cycle. While that is working go to the PC in the common room & run and save your tool paths, ’
Return to the multicam and use pendant to load tool paths,
currently there is no way to do on the fly design changes at the CNC,

@Matthew_Currey … FWIW, there is a new (self-service) green dot process and all prior green dots expired. Go to the Green Dot category and follow the instructions. Then you will be able to see Issues & Requests again.

It sounded like @jphelps has installed the new software on that station in commons. If he did, I’m not sure the old file will open on the software as they were water marked with the prior software. I’m not sure, but could be the case.
I was under the impression we were going to leave an old copy of the software active while we tested everything. Maybe the Vcarve v 11.x in on some other computer, I just don’t know which one…
VCarve 11 and 12 are both on DMS-DESIGN-1 however we’re not broadly sharing the new V12 sign up info (testing) and if you do have it your mileage may vary with 12 as I’m still working with Vectric tech support on how best to deploy the ‘master editions’ (e.g. the ones we can export tool paths from) on prem in such a way as to reliably work with our environment and logins.

So if we load are files using the keypad and don’t use the multicam PC for file creation, are we good to use the tool? Is the tool itself fine, or is it broken?
