I was about to run the spindle warm up on the multiCAM when I realized the vacuum brush (no idea what the correct name is) that covers the endmill was missing. I looked around and searched for a replacement with no luck. Is there a replacement around that I’m missing? Is it safe to run without it? Where did it go??
I have occasionally found replacements in one of the top three drawers.
Fwiw I ran a job without it fine, just make sure you don’t set the guard vacuum thing too low or it might crash into your material. I just set it at the height it would be at if the brush was there. Still vacuums up some chips just not as much as if the brush were there.
