@Tapper got a new 4hp spindle for our MultiCAM and installed it. We spent several hours trying to get it aligned perpendicular to the table. Sunday morning I got it as close as I could to being swept in to the MDF spoil board and I milled the table. I also reinstalled the dust collector and calibrated the laser. It should be good to use.
One thing I noticed is that the dust collector tube has a bungee and if the head moves to the far ends of the table it moves the dust collector and the dust collector gets dragged by the gantry. Someone might want to make sure we have enough slack in the tube and make sure the dust collector is secured.
Also I’m not sure the status of the pendant RFID lock @Robert_Davidson I am still not authorized but the magnet still doesn’t lock the door.
