Per @AlexRhodes (in a separate post), the MultiCam is down.
I assume this means that regular Thursday night testing will not occur tomorrow night?

The multicam is down as well… this tells me we should not depend on a single CNC router
I have updated the Tool Status board to show the MultiCam as down. If you can give me more info (needs review, part broken, repair scheduled, etc.) I can update the sub-category.
Spindle and z axis sound awful. Plan is to call Multicam and Perske (spindle Manufacture) tomorrow.
Too bad we do not have a spare in the Vintage Computer Museum…
Chris (@John_Marlow) ~ Thank you for creating a new thread for this issue. I have moved the related posts from the other thread into this one - where they better belong.
Any luck on getting this serviced? I was going to try and test out on Thursday if it was.
Thanks.
It got some TLC from a few people (@Chris_Wischkowsky and @Tapper) and is up now.
Not sure fixed is the right word. We’re watching it, but suspect we’re starting to lose the bearings on the spindle.
Thank you very much guys!
I have marked it as Operational (green) in the Tool Status Board, but have included the sub-status “Needs review by tool expert”.
So… green with yellow highlights?
