Mr Lee TIG Supplies

I went to a Welding Store looking for wire and ceramic tip along with th tungsten tips.
Did not know the torch model or tip diameters.
Could you please advise on the materials neded to operate the TIG welder.

I recommend using the 2% Lanthanated Tungsten electrodes. For comparison testing, see here:

@LeeCJones

If you can provide the part # name and a source of supply(s) I’ll print, lamenate and hang on wall in welding and put on Wiki.

The torch on the Miller 350 is a WP-20, water-cooled model. This kit will provide the most common consumables, other than the tungsten electrode itself:

If you’d like a more uniform Argon shield (wasting less gas), then get the gas lens kit:

(edit: My first posted kit was gas lens, which I prefer. This is not strictly necessary.)

and if you (Photomancer & or other Committees) need something larger laminated /mounted for use in the DMS (up to 40"x60") let me know…

I saw there is a nice Welding page in the wiki.

Would you like me to add the consumables suggestions that you listed above to that wiki page?

Assuming @dallasmagna and/or @LeeCJones agree, sure!

Excellent. Will print and post on wall and wiki!

I don’t think they would object. Both of them rarely get on Talk.

I might suggest printing page 3 of the spec sheet

EDIT: I went ahead and added that to the wiki, along with a link to the spec sheet on the Miller web site.

Will do. Anything else?
