The last couple of weekends the poor backing server that supports Maker Manager’s badge changes has had issues. I blame the combination of 5+ year old python, cherrypy, and ubuntu VM combination that was its base.
We’ve upgraded this to a AWS Lambda function, so there should be fewer outages with the badge system. This also allowed us to retire the older on-prem VM (goodnight PRLXUTIL!)
