@USprofessional and I went to Gulfstream today and picked up some new donations. This time in addition to the leather and smaller veneer samples she gave us full 4x8 veneer sheets, too. (There are some scraps in the pile as well as some 1/2 sheets) John and I moved them onto one of the tables in
the common work area. @SWA Burt told us he had some veneer cutting classes planned for veneer
on the lasers. There are a lot of veneers so I’m sure if you want to take some he wouldn’t object.
John took some as he plans to make some pool cue cases as well as do some wainscoting with them.
The leather is on the freebie shelf, and look around for some of the smaller veneers there, too. (I confess the shelves are cluttered and could use a good cleaning so we left some of the leather on the floor in boxes)
