Nobody knows how long that bubble is going to last. There have been reports of people selling a vehicle used a couple of years with tens of thousands of miles for more than they originally paid.
At least most of us are not getting a property tax bill for an automobile based on the inflated âcompâ value. Does Dallas still tax cars?

We will get higher real estate taxes though as the county is more than willing to use the rise in home prices to adjust our taxes. Sell now, buy later?

China wants to become self-sufficient in semiconductors. It is looking more and more like their answer is to invade Taiwan.
As if the chip shortage is not bad enough, now itâs DRAM and Flash memory.

A number of âexpertsâ predict China will force the issue with Taiwan in the next 5 years - part of their 5 year plan. Letâs hope that the Taiwan foundriesâ investments the U.S., Europe, Japan and elsewhere are well on their way to going online before / if that happens.

That probably wonât be necessary if China decides to âbeatâ the island into submission. Fab plants / clean rooms on that level donât take kindly to being shaken by bombs, missiles, etc. Will be interesting to see if they want to play âthe big bullyâ and destroy what they seek. Also itâs one thing to have the hrdwr for that level of fabbing and quiet another to know how to tune, tweak, and run it for economical yields.

Iâve been reading about REE more and more, and the efforts in Texas. Itâs intriguing about the possibilities in the USA, and just how little real work has been done.
We wonât have a choice.

Gasoline went to nearly $4 a gallon down to around $1.25 and we are now back to around $3.
