That’s really cool… did you notice the Kinect at the top of the display? I’d love to work on this. I’ve got the programming skills to do this also, just not the woodworking / metal working skills to build the frame.

Think we have/had a smaller version of this in the front lobby. Best I can recall Darcy and ?? put it together.

most likely to be processing.org and webcam. the program would just need to outline the object space in greyscale then send gcode to an array of steppper motors.
I’ve been trying to figure out how to get my laser cutter to make a circle instead of a letter D for the better part of a year. That is definitely Greek to me. But the fabrication skills I totally have for the moving bits lol 
Summer SIG? I don’t think we necessarily have to do wood. Was thinking it could be cool out of ceramic. There’s a mirror finish glaze that does cool effects
