It would take me about a half-hour to get there. I don’t want to go just for myself, as I don’t have an immediate need for one of these.

Rat finks. I checked online an hour ago before I left Mesquite. Would have stopped on the way by.

I already bought one from Adafruit ($45!), but thanks for the tip. Been watching that page too!

Microcenter has a pretty amazing selection that I wasn’t aware of until recently. Quite a step up from the RadioShack DIY section.

I am also amazed at Micro Center’s selection. I’ve been a Fry’s guy for a while, but over the last year, they’ve really disappointed me in their selection and inability to keep things in stock.

I made it by Microcenter this evening just before 9:00 pm. I picked up a couple of them, with cases and microSD cards. They still had about 100 of the RPi2s left in stock then. I believe they also had a bin of the B+ version on sale.

Wait, did you say they had ONE HUNDRED RPi 2s?

That’s an estimate. Parts of two 3-4 foot wide shelves, one of them filled 4 boxes deep all the way across.

Well now I feel dumb for ponying up for $45+shipping from adafruit

Maybe I’ll go to Microcenter tomorrow and relieve my grief with some retail therapy…

I was somewhat shocked at how many they had. I remember when the original RPi came out and supplies were really slow to arrive. Figured it would be the same deal this time.

Guess someone along the line learned the lesson last time.

They had 192 in stock Friday at 2

Thanks for the info! A co-worker had been trying to buy one, but not having any success online.

I’m going to hold out for the Raspberry Pi zero. Just think of the number of those one could fit into a standard pc case
