To the @Team_Metal_Shop and users, in proposing that we shutdown at midnight rather than 4am for the Oncor work.
Rationale:
- ensure people working to the wire get cleared out
- provide time extractors can run since people working to the wire may produce fumes and/or particulate matter that should be cleared.
- lockout items that retain heat for more than an hour or two, like the ovens and kiln
We don’t have anything that needs special protection for a power outage other than shutting down the plasma computer, but locking out things that will retain high heat and ensuring users are not getting into spots in their projects they can’t just walk away from is our concern.
