Hey guys, wondering if we are doing welding classes yet. Also, if we’re not, wondering if anyone can fab a bumper for me?
Well, we’re teaching MIG classes semi-regularly.
We should let some of the welding guys chime in on whether or not MIG is a good choice to weld a bumper.

Mig is just fine for a bumper. It’s also fine for rock rails. I’ve dropped my Jeep off a ledge onto said rails with no ill effect.

Hard to say. The holidays are upon us. I could run the prerequisite Hot Process Safety class the Saturday after Thanksgiving, say around 3pm, if that works?
For the welding class, that could be longer. I’ve got stuff through the first weekend of December. @rlisbona is considering starting up classes. He’s currently working on our other MIG welder so that more than 2 students can weld at the same time.
