I forget who asked at the meeting, but the last load of metal scrap I hauled for DMS went to:

Cyclone Recycling

Saturday 7:30 AM–12 PM

This place is about 5 miles/15 mins from DMS if you take Luna Road to avoid IH35, maybe a few minutes less on IH35. Don’t know they are the best option, but they seem to be the most convenient. There are a bunch in Lewisville near IH35 and Business TX 121

@got_tools was looking for a spot. Do you know if you need a scrap license or will a standard Drivers license suffice?

I am going to look and see which ones are nearby DMS and may check out the one above. I have about 1500 pounds of aluminum, 500 pounds of copper wire, and probably 3000 pounds of steel to haul in for scrap. Should be a nice bit of cash.

I’ve used Almetco in Lewisville before. Small operation but pretty quick and efficient.
