What kind of metal are you wanting to polish and what size?

Brass and some stainless. small parts. just lots of them

I’m unclear on what kind of polishing you’re looking for, so forgive me if I’m way off base here.

I think there are a couple of tumblers and several media, I think, maybe in machine shop? @bgangwere would know about that, I think.
I don’t really know if that would accomplish the polish you want. Otherwise, there are none that I know of. Machine shop is working on getting the buffer up and running, which would be good for things you can hold in your hands to polish, but is not what I would term “close”.

Anyway, I suspect those last 2 are the type you’re looking for. I don’t think we have anything like that until the last one pictured gets repaired/hooked up in the machine shop…

There is a buffer for jewelry, it is not really set up for use at this time. It is hiding over in the pottery area. Ask John or Nathan about it. I think it was donation, but not sure to what dept.
