I think that, should the space do the expansion, this would be an awesome project for an interesting community tool.

I’d definitely be interested in helping with this. Just finishing up a large-scale CNC gantry, used for manufacturing, but could easily be adapted to something like this. It’s plenty heavy duty, and MachineKit could for sure handle it. Keep me updated!
