This meeting is taking place tomorrow evening, Friday, Oct. 18.
Please remember that any comments to be made -whether a committee report or a topic comment- should be kept concise like an elevator talk. As in, could be stated during an average elevator ride between the ground floor and, say, the fifth floor. NOT a “since we’re trapped in this elevator car until power is restored, I’ll just talk you to death” elevator speech.
At present, the agenda item posted on the wiki are just committee reports. Members are welcome to add items and/or bring or blurt topics at the appropriate part of the meeting.

Oh, I think we can be sufficiently generous and stretch that to, say, the fifty-fifty floor assuming a non-stop trip… I think the template says something like ninety seconds.
If it’s an OTIS elevator. Low-bid elevators like the one at the GISD Harris Hill Administration building? 50 floors would take about twenty minutes. Even in express mode.

The slowest elevator I have ever been on was at the Otis elevator offices in Dallas. Apparently it was there for handicapped people, as a slow walker could make it down the single flight of steps quicker.
