I don’t know if you can see this but each link in this chainmail is flat and riveted.
Perhaps @Ruiner can take a better pic …

@Mandaris … want to give these a try?

looks like swell work from what i can see:) premade parts or made from scratch? yes i absolutely want to try these!!! XD its been on my to do list for a while i want to make a shirt out of stainless if i can but something heavy and preferably corrosion proof if not. Also if you want a better pic you might try a light colored back ground and either hold it so the weave hangs open or lay it out flat.

Edit: only just realized i missed the event :frowning: much sad face

We are going to have another one next month. Depending on the turn out we may schedule more often. If you PM me your email I can notify you when it is scheduled

Not my work, but even pre-made is hand made in this hobby.

Yours look more like washers where these have thin parts … how can I make these?

Same as butted, but with some extra steps. Smash 'em down in a piston, then use some slightly modified hand tools. Lemme scrounge up a quick tutorial.

Yeah, this is the one! Easy enough for the likes of us. But as I said at the meeting, I do not have the patience for this particular task when labor is so cheap elsewhere.
