Must Do Chores List
Check our current assortment of safety glasses (both shaded and clear)
clean up committee roll up since it’s overstuffed again
Weld small cage for pony bottles to get them out of committee storage.
clean up tall cabinet on welding bay. Stuff in it can more likely be tidy’d up across the back row of shelves. It’s never closed anyway.
check grinder wheels
check welder wire and gas
check vapor hone water & media
disassemble water buffalo for powder coating (after using it to service vapor hone)
** check if it needs more caster hardware. I recall we got the wrong size last time it was assembled
Other items for todo list
make Vinyl / Other labels for the front tool chest “KEEP CLOSED” (large, inside lift lid), “Batteries” (outside lid , smaller) “Power Outlets” (on lid)
weld oven jig (come on, it’s been months)
Look at better bending die storage. New 1-3/4 die has arrived, entire bottom shelf of advanced tool cabinet consumed by dies
Items for Acquisition on Supply Runs
Vapor Hone media, if needed (Aluminium Oxide, by the Bucket)
Re: vinyl lettering for toolbox.
I sent the artwork to a friend to output for us. But, as her office was buried with last-minute end of the school year T-shirt printing, she just got it cut latethis afternoon. I’ll go over Wednesday to weed and add release paper, then bring it to space.
I apologize for delay. And apologize for not being able to come sweep this month. I’m ripping up carpet in the old CA room. Which is turning into a heinous undertaking.
I offered to weld it as soon as it was cut, but it hasn’t been prepped yet. What we need is someone to pull the design from Jim’s head and prep it for welding.
hey, I’ve let several people try and take a stab at the design. The last one actually made something viable. I want some of us to take a look at it tomorrow and, if we can agree it looks good, we have everything on hand to start cutting it.
