A lens in translucent ABS is printed using the Polyprinter.
When the print begins the printer begins by putting a matrix of dots
below the flat base.
A photo of the part has been taken but there does not seem to be
an attachment feature to this post.
It is surmised that anomaly is caused by the Kiss Slicer software
but it is not known how to change the settings to get rid of
matrix below the base.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

PS Unable to attach photo so the phot was posted at web site:
It’s most likely caused by a raft/brim setting being enabled. (Another unlikely possibility, you raised the part in the slicer and it’s trying to print support underneath).
Start up kiss-slicer, go to settings, check expert settings. Undock the window so you can move it to the center of the screen. Once you have looked at and corrected the settings (or load the default presets, which shouldn’t change) then use “save project” or “save file” menu option. (Idk why it’s called this, because it doesn’t save your project, only your settings.) Anyway, put the .ksp file in your user folder and just open that file every time you use the software. Otherwise you’re just using the settings of whomever used that computer last.
