Making wooden gears on the laser?

Does anyone know a place to get ready made drawings of gears that I can use to make wooden or plastic gears on the lasers?

also, autodesk has a gear generator in it, if you have access to that program

Thank you! Are there others? That one is great but doesn’t have anything to do planetary gears or racks.

You might want to try this one: http://hessmer.org/gears/InvoluteSpurGearBuilder.html

I personally have not used the dxf generation portion of this simulator.

Isn’t wooden gears what made Matthias famous?

I believe so.

Matthias Wandel has a wonderful woodworking youtube channel. And a shop filled with wooden stationary power tools.

First one I found when I went looking, but it lets you print the gears, but not download an image file of them to put on the laser.

Print to PDF (or other “portable document format”) might do the trick…
Also, he offers his run-local program
https://woodgears.ca/gear/index.html
with eval
https://woodgears.ca/gear/GearGenerator3.exe
which the website claims is “exactly the same except the view is distorted”
which appears to offer export to dxf, svg, pdf, among others.
I think $26.00 to support Matthias isn’t THAT ridiculous, if the eval does what you need…
