Making Brass corner pieces

Does anyone have an idea on how to make these brass corner pieces?

I’d cut them out. Tin snips, maybe a scroll/jig saw. I’m not sure if we can cut brass on anything in metal shop, per se. Bandsaw, maybe.

Can brass be used on the plasma cutter?

If the material is not allowed or if it is not precise enough, then use a template and a knee mill or maybe a CNC Sherline since it appears you will need more than one.

A lot of that can be cut out of thin bar stock or sheared for sheets. All of our shears can cut brass sheet.

The shapes can be cut on the plastics Shapeoko.

While I’ve not done it brass can be plasma cut. I do not know if it’s on our approved material list. Since brass is zinc bearing it may not be.

The round fittings can be turned on any of our metal lathes, possibly including the Tormach (CNC)

Those are like cast, but we could bet close on the shapeoko or the nomad. Pm me.

that new sheer/hole punch/corner notcher machine in metal shop can probably cut them out of brass sheet easily as well. @Mrholthaus would know for sure.

I agree with Kevin. I would use a shapoko. However laser cutting(which we don’t have) would be the best/fastest way. The corner notches can cut a square corner but not a radius. For the radius you would still need a router.

Zinc free brass would be fine but the cut would probably not be all that clean

= copper

Sorry I was thinking bronze (tin alloys)

Thank you all. I figured the CNC in metal shop or the shapeoko. I would saw it out but It’s too thick for my hand saw.
