Making a Powered Scraper - Progress report

I’m trying my hand at repeating the #chiaxpowerscraper from @laneymachinetech. Adam Balogh is a professor and the chair of the Machine Technology Dept. at Laney College in California and does some pretty awesome stuff. I highly recommend.

Biax Power Scrapers appear to be the industry standard and are thusly priced starting new at ~ $4K. And that’s without blades…

This project yields impressive results out of a $24.99 Harbor Freight Reciprocating Saw. So far I’ve disassembled the unit and designed and printed the housing for the butt. I have a ways to go but i’ll post pics along the way.
