Makers Space Anchorage AK

I had the chance to visit with several of the local potters and wood turners while in AK. They were located in the deep woods, up a mountain, down a dirt road, and take a left at the birch tree, type of places. I love talking art and techniques with fellow Artist.
Unfortunately time is running out, I did not make it to the AK Makers Space, but was ticked they do have a Makers Space here. I’ll have to add them to my schedule next year.

One Of the artist I visited with was Peter Brondz. His studio is in Bird Creek AK He had some very nice pottery, 2 kilns -wood burning salt, and cone 10 reduction. Out of respect I won’t post the pics taken at his studio. The second picture is what he has posted on the internet.
