just an exersise in 3d toolpathing. it had a stub underneath which made it a great spinner. pity we can’t upload a video. cheers!

The link worked for me. I was wondering how it was a fidget spinner, the video clears it up. It is a Top rather than fidget hand spinner. Nice work!.
Quick question, The spiral pattern on the top, did you do anything special to get that look in particular, or is it just the traditional spiral towards middle tool path?
it was just a display the prof. wanted done to show a 3d tool path. It had a slight stub on the bottom which is why it spun (before I faced all that off). This was done on the HAAS so the top was how it faced that in a spiral with a flat end mill. that was a nice surprise feature so we decided to not polish that off.
