Machine Shop Pallets: Take a Look, write name on item

There are some pallets in the Machine Shop area, a lot of the stuff were items brought over from the Treasure Palace last year and is basically some hoarded items. There are a number of linear actuators, some shafts with linear bearings, some gears, fasteners, bearings with shaft supports, etc.

Please go look it, if you see something you want, put blue tape on it with name and @username on it. Don’t take anything away until I contact you. The raw materials we’ll hang onto for projects and training classes. Any thing that looks like a handle for a machine we’ll keep.

What isn’t used wanted I’ll get rid of by next committee meeting. There lots heavy duty casters, the one NOT on the pallets have planned uses… Make an offer on the endless chain hoist. Need lifting straps to go with it? Talk to me, lots of 2" straps with an S-hook on end.

Again, put name on it, don’t take it right away. If I can get bins made, the raw material issue will disappear.

We’ll get that place looking good and new work table fabricated.

There is one pallet now that if you want any of the items you can take it. Someone put some Blue Tape on some items but no name, get them immediately otherwise when I come back on Tuesday the tape is coming off and any one can take.

The pallet in the center of the Machine Shop is off limits, those are materials being reserved and kept by MS of future projetcs.

Suggest you label that pallet as off-limits, if you haven’t already done so.
