As mentioned in the meeting today I will be going through and updating the wiki’s tooling information and creating signage for the Machine Shop.

Anyone who has time please let me know if I am missing any equipment, help me fill in any missing/incorrect information, and supply me with pictures as you have time. I will update the list below as I get the information.

Should we also call out notable accessories / shop choices?

Like we’re a Kurt vise shop with vises of X size with sine plugs, we have the Vostro offset head on the millport, a rotary indexing head for the other knee mills, XYZ chucks for the various lathes, etc.

Getting down to consumables definitely no, but the major items that make a machine more versatile maybe we just add a notes column for?

I’m open to whatever we want to add. I’m in information gathering mode right now, so if there’s more stuff that needs added throw it at me. I just don’t know what anything is so I need help from the committee to tell me.

I sent you a photo granite surface plate and dimensions. Also the Bailiegh TH-250 Tube Notcher.

Next time I’m up there I get you the info for knee mill accessories:

  • Large Rotary table that can be mounted Vertically and Horizontally
  • Large Horizontal Rotary Table with Cross Slides
  • Rotary Indexer
  • Large Tilt Table
