it was fine at 11 pm. The process at Dallas saw was changed, I don’t know if I can order spares anymore.

Split from Sawstop thread (which was legitimate, as far as I know) to “off topic” because I think David was joking, but then we kind of went down a legit path about bandsaw blades. Feel free to move to Machine Shop if the honest discussion continues; if the joke continues, this seems “off topic” to me.

Yes, it’s been a running joke at our committee meetings that the blades have lasted months not days. At least I hope it’s a joke.

I had some luck forging bandsaw blade pieces into a billet In my gas forge. I’d like to try it again.
If you do replace the blade and are going to trash it, I’d like to have it. Bad news is I’m out of town for a week-ish, so if you need to trash it, I’ll understand. .
On a related note - no more getting three - four weeks to the gallon in the ol’ automobile
