Mac Only Software for Science

@Team_Science

I’m working on the budget of software for the Mac Pro out by VCC and A few of us have asked for a few things.

Namely:

  • Arduino IDE
  • Android Studio
  • xCode for iOS development
  • Adobe creative suite
  • Autocad Pro
  • OmniSuite

I’m not a chem/science guy more computer science/data science so wouldn’t know where to start other than matlab (which is available on the community grid).

But I did find http://www.crystalmaker.com/software/index.html which looks interesting.

So, besides the ELK, Matlab, Hadoop, influxdb (ie time serial db), and Tensorflow clusters is there any other software that you guys could use that is not available for your computers in your committee area?
