Thanks @Photomancer for taking time today to show my kids how to make buttons. Such a simple thing but they are still over the moon about the experience. With some the negativity floating around it is good to be reminded why we do this and that the people here are really awesome. There is nothing better than teaching a skill to a fellow member. They are planning what to come make next.

Mark (the Limey) took the time to show a father / son duo last Fri - the little twerp was all about the buttons! (I was a casual observer giving three retired active fine art painters a tour)

Yeah this is one of the nicest groups of people I’ve ever met in my life. I’ve had total strangers go out of their way to help me nearly constantly since joining.
