Just went through and scrubbed a bunch of SSDs.
- Samsung 850 EVO - 256GB ($25, have two)
- Samsung 850 EVO - 500GB ($30) (claimed)
- Crucial M500 240GB ($20)
- Samsung mSATA EVO 850 500GB w/ USB 3.1 type C enclosure: $100 (use it with SED Util as a great portable encrypted drive. I’ll leave a copy on it)
I’ve already run these through encrypt/decrypt+key scrub so they’re good to go. Some came out of a Datacenter, and the little mSATA works great but I need more space than 500 on the go now.
I additionally have the following but I need to find something to put them in to confirm their scrubbing.
- Samsung Evo 850 M.2 SATA 500 GB, MZ-N5E500 (pulled: their scrubbing is wonky, can’t release)
