Before I purchase a subscription to Adobe wanted to check to see if anyone has a suggestion to the least expensive way to do that? Buy at store, online…is there a magic code that gives me half off?
Thanks!
I’m in the same boat. Occasionally they run a discount promotion where you can get Photoshop for $9.99 per month (with an annual commitment) and the same for Illustrator. Right now they’re at their “normal” price of $20.99 per month each.
Ouch.
If you can wait a few months, they typically offer a “black Friday” discount. If you have a .edu email address that’s good for a year of discounts as well - coupled together you can get pretty much the entire Creative Cloud subscription for about 20 bucks per month for a year.
If you are a student at a verified institution or an employee of same, you can get the Ed pricing via Adobe directly or through an education reseller company.
Not a student but thanks for the info!
They usually request a copy of your student or faculty I.d.
I worked 39 years at a public school district. The .edu ending was restricted to colleges/universities about the time we started thinking about a website. So while an “edu” address may be available the same way service dog “credentials” are available, I wouldn’t assume that route is effective.
Hmmm, something to look into, thanks!
I last used the .edu discount with Adobe in like 2016 or 2017, but at that time they didn’t request a copy of an ID - just a verification email sent to the .edu address.
Yes, in looking at it I am not sure that is the direction I want to go. My son is a student so thinking maybe I can get him to get it for me. Will give that a try.
Thanks!
The fine print says that the price is only good for one year.
