I have a 2012 Ford Flex (approx 151k miles) that I need to get rid of.
I know that is can take it to FB marketplace but I thought I’d ask DMS first if anyone is interested in it for any reason.
It drives and is in decent condition, but has some issues. Most notably the transmission has some slippage around 40-50mph, I understand it’s pretty common for these cars and it’s more trouble to fix than the air is worth. Otherwise pretty minor cosmetic issues.
mmmmdon’t think so…although it’s basically a Taurus underneath, and the 96-99 SHOs had a V8 driving the front wheels, so in theory one could transplant a v8 into a Flex with relative ease.
Gotta say, though this does not appear to meet the measures entirely of my need I want to try it out. I don’t think I can, though. Hope someone else can enjoy this. It should be a bargain for someone willing to do the work (R&R trans, at the very least)!

Hi i Apologize for not getting back to you earlier it’s just right now. My job has me running every way around because of the incoming weather but I am still trying to see if I can purchase it for Lo teaching purposes for the space.
