Looking for a models?

only moved to the area like a month or two ago and i am not sociable at all wondering if there are any women folk interested in being a model for my chainmaille hobby this would require on occasion somewhat intimate measurements and pics of you wearing the finished product and we would have to meet no more than twice a month either at DMS or my residence (which ever of the two works best for you) but if i were to make a piece beyond my prototype for that piece you would get to keep it free of charge and you will get to see my process for making swell things also i would not be opposed to paying for your time within a hobbyists budget of course

Hey Tony,

To set members at ease, could you please attach a copy of at least one previous example of work you’ve done. The one you showed us during your class recently would work.

Also, to confirm… Will the type of measurements be along the lines of how seamstresses measure, or ???

not sure if this is gonna work but i shall try to post this pics below as for how the measurements are done i have never tried sewing anything beyond a few rips and a patch here and there so i guess i would say i do the measurements as an engineer would which is to say i use measuring tape and measure the bits i need to measure to make the thing work then i build it and adjust as necessary for example with the top shown below i had to measure around the neck to the top of the cups then from that point to the bottom of the breast and from the nipple to the bottom of the breast and top of the cup so that i could properly gauge where to place the bends i needed in the weave then around the chest below the breasts for the support chain for the tie i just measured around my neck and made it long enough to reach my belt the draw back to doing garments in chain/scale at least for me is that since the measurements are unique to each person there is no one size fits all anything its one size fits one and i would like to make them for an actual person vs a mannequin especially if its gonna be a one off sorta deal

the pics that are not a blue top or tie are NOT MY WORK but they are some of the things id like to work on in the fullness of time most immediately id like to start on a new top incorporating things i learned in making the first one then a panty/skirt set

as for the modelmayhem site i think my pics compared to the others i posted below are more inclined to scare folk (and especially professionals) off which is one of the reasons i am usually reluctant to spread them around and one of the main reasons i have not investigated that site very hard

if i missed answering anyone’s questions just kick me in the shins or something and im more than happy to answer whatever i can
