Long Absence from DMS

Hello all,
I’ve been away for several years since Covid. I have kept my membership current and still have my badge. I am just wondering if I need to do anything to make sure my badge still works and that my qualifications to use specific machinery is still intact or if I need to do anything to re-activate. Thanks for the help!

If you’re membership has stayed active, then your badge should also already be active.

You can check my logging into Log In | Maker Manager 3 and verifying that you can:
a) Log in
b) Your badge shows up

If both are true then you should be good to go.

The only thing that might have happened is that your badge might have died. It doesn’t happen frequently. But if you show up at the front door, and nothing happens, it could be that the badge died. Although, now that I’ve said that, the front door has the occasional issue, where you have to basically hold your badge flat to the reader over the 1 on the number pad. Those things are a bit heat-sensitive, and when it’s been sitting in the afternoon sun, it gets finicky.
