Local source for cutoffs?

I’m looking around to see if I can pick up a few cutoffs of round stock. Aluminum and CR Steel. Around 3 in OD and no longer than 4-5 inches. Any of you have some good ideas where I might find? Obviously i’ll pay. Just hoping to minimize the cost some if possible.

I’m going to call CDC but I don’t recall seeing that size there before…

just walk in the front, it’s all cut offs there. Cash will get it cheaper than a card.

If you’re going to call CDC, be advised he plans to be closed 7/28 - 8/1.

Metals Supermarket doesn’t charge any less for cutoffs. It’s the same full price as “regular” metal, but you save the couple dollar cutting fee if it’s already the size you want.

yeah they will just let you in the back and look at the small scrap pieces though to shop

Thanks for the tips. I made it down to Metals4u before they closed and picked up a couple of pieces. Glad to know where they are. Pro tip… Probably not best to show up 30 mins before they close. They got a little antsy for me to finish up in time for them to close up exactly at 5. ha ha. I guess I would do the same.
