The Lobby looks nice! Would you like 2 wooden round tables for the new Lobby? The tables would match those chairs. They are located in the small office next to the new Common Room. That is the room that the Board assigned to the Expansion Group. I had planned on removing those round tables and installing larger rectangular tables for our construction drawings. You can have those 2 round tables for the Lobby if you want them, one is assembled and the other one is disassembled.
DMS-style volunteerism at is best ! Thanks, Draco :–)
I can/will; he cannot come back onto DMS property without BoD approval and escort. For some reason I believe his email is no longer working, but we’ll try and set up a time to meet him. If anyone knows of a good/working email address for him, please let a director or officer know.
I took the two round tables that were in the small office off the new Common Room and put them in the new Front Lobby. Now if someone needs a quiet area to make a phone call…now you have it. The small office is being transformed into the Expansion Group work area.
@StanSimmons has a large poster that can be positioned outside by the current front Lobby and directs people to the new front entrance. Looks like a good time to start using the new entrance.
Thanks! @PearceDunlap hit on a really good idea for the hex tile donor mural! I know the tour lobby will have the TV and display cases, hopefully we can take advantage of it’s larger size and have one from each SIG/comittee. I wanted to measure the not tour lobby and get in touch with some of my suppliers and see if I cannot get a motion together before the next BoD
You were willing to get it out in front of people instead of me just yakking about it and rooms. I think it’s a great way that we can have something need for visitors to say and that allows the members to feel like members not customers. You’re a part of my crew space you put your brand Onyx you might say. And it’s fun and we got a lot of walls put stuff on.
