Some medical journals are reporting initial data on the link between low Vitamin D (serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D [25(OH)D]) and poor outcomes from a COVID-19 infection.
For myself, I’ve already been taking a daily supplement (2000 IU) for years after a routine test showed low levels. I also tend to spend as much time outside in the sunshine as I’m able to do.
Anyway, another possible “cheap insurance” against going for an early dirt nap.
