Lightburn Software License

Laser Lab FYI:

The computer to the right says the Lightburn software license has expired.

The center computer says the Lightburn license on it expires tomorrow.

I couldn’t find any laser wood to purchase…

It’s my understanding that the computer on the far right is dedicated to the Fusion laser, which does not use Lightburn. Laser wood is a hot commodity and is frequently out. I’ll probably start buying wood from someplace online. From what I can tell, local wood suppliers only carry plywood core sheets.

Thanks, Bill.

That explains it. The computer in the middle says the license is about to expire. Thank you for arranging for the wood.

Sorry for any misunderstanding but I’m not supplying wood. I’ve discussed the shortage with Burt (@swa), who replenishes the supply when he’s able, but it’s a hot commodity and part of his supply goes toward classes. I think you’re better off procuring it yourself until there’s a plan in place to provide readily available raw materials.

OK. Any suggestions for sources? Amazon?

Thanks

I’ll DM you. I do not have a source but in Googling I have come across a few options.

Yeah. Burt is getting a good deal because he’s buying at a commercial rate.

Not sure what type of wood you’re looking for but have you tried Wood World in Richardson. They have exotic woods etc.

The Laser store has been restocked with both 12"x24" and 24"x24" sheets.
