Light burn software

Just wondering if we are getting the light burn software back

I talked to the Lightburn developer recently. He can give special pricing for makerspace and the members. It’s way more optimized than RDWorks. We should consider it.

We had it setup on The old machines @tomthm did the hard work. Maybe he can help again on the new pcs. New things are faster and more efficient just takes a little tinecto get them all squared away.

I wish I could take the credit. I think @pinewoodnut did all of that. I won’t be in town until Nov 10. I don’t know what our License # is to get them going. I did start using Lightburn in my Laser 101 classes. I think the $80 License fee gives us 4 seats, so I’d suggest buying another License. It supports the developer, and would get us up and running (if that is the only issue).

As of now, the only issue is the missing full key.

How de we go about getting one?

It looks like the license is valid for 2 by default, but they’re willing to go to 3. The list price for our version (DSP) runs $80.

I’m way out of the loop on what we’ve bought or if we have any keys. If we just want to buy another license and call it done that’s fine by me (set them up as ‘system locked licenses’ I believe).
